Carole C. Rozewicz

(nee Goggins) Carole C. Rozewicz, age 82, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away on April 21, 2025 and is finally at peace. Carole was born September of 1942 to Eleanor and David Goggins in Milwaukee, WI. She attended St. Lawrence grade school. Carole attended and graduated from South Division High School in 1960 where she met one of her dear life-long friends, James Lombard who she was still friends with to date. After graduation she went on to work at Ampco Metal where she met two other life-long friends, Ginny Armstrong and Susan Lovas, both of whom she stayed in contact with and kept close to her heart all through her adult life. In 1956 Carole met the love of her life James and they wed in 1964, going on to have three children, Christine, James and Jeffrey (Cathy) and two grandsons Jacob and Peter. Carole also had three furry grandchildren Lily, Boots and Socks. When Carole had Christine she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Carole was always there for her family putting the needs of family before her own. Carole’s endless unconditional love and support was displayed daily ensuring her children grew up with a solid foundation to go after and achieve their goals and dreams. Carole took pride in knowing she was able to be there to laugh, listen, encourage, support, give words of wisdom, teach you right from wrong, cheer you on in sports or listen to your day’s events. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in life with courage and dignity. A true source of inspiration. She never let a day go by without showing and expressing her love for each of her children and her husband. Carole took great pride in knowing each day her husband went to work with a perfectly pressed dress shirt and came home to a family focused environment with evening family meals, story telling of the day and quality family time. Carole enjoyed bowling in her younger years and showed off her skills by bowling a good share of 200 plus pin games. Always full of Irish charm she shared her wittiness with telling stories that resulted in laughs and now great memories. Carole was passionate about music and enjoyed playing the piano and singing. She had enjoyed singing Friday nights at the Packing House every opportunity that presented. Carole also enjoyed crocheting and knitting and shared her creations from the heart with family and friends over the years. Her warmth and kindness could be found in everything she did for family as well as friends. Moments of relaxation were enjoyed with her family sitting in the backyard admiring her plants, flowers and gardens, reading a book or catching up with friends on the phone. Carole never missed a chance to partake in a game of poker and she knew how to bluff well to win many a hand. We will miss her greatly. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. Carole was preceded in death by her parents Eleanor (2004) and David Goggins (1985). Carole is survived by her beloved husband James; children Christine, James, Jeffrey (Cathy); grandchildren Jake and Peter Rozewicz; sister Patricia Haas; and brother David Goggins. Visitation Saturday, April 26 from 9:30-11:30 AM at ROZGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES – ROZGA-WALLOCH CHAPEL followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
