Eliza Charlotte Hardy

Eliza Charlotte Hardy, our precious and deeply loved daughter, was gently welcomed into God's loving arms on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was the treasured daughter of Sarah Steffan and Robert “Rob” Hardy. Although Eliza's time on earth was far too short, her love will live on forever. Through the incredible gift of organ donation, her beautiful spirit will continue to bring hope and life to others. Even in her passing, Eliza gave the greatest gift of all. Eliza is lovingly survived by her parents; her big sister and best friend, Alexis Hardy; her grandparents, Donna and Mark Steffan, and Roxanne and Robert “Bob” Hardy; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who loved her beyond measure. Eliza attended St. Anne's Intergenerational Daycare, where she was surrounded by teachers and friends who became like family. She especially loved singing and dancing during music class with Miss Hannah and hosting tea parties with her friends in Monarch. Eliza was a sweet, spirited, and wonderfully silly little girl. She filled every room with laughter, smiles, and endless joy. Her giggle was contagious, and her bright smile could light up anyone's day. She had a playful little personality, was full of curiosity, and found happiness in the simplest things. Eliza cherished spending time with her many cousins, enjoying playdates, playing outside, and sharing her favorite juice boxes and snacks. She adored her dogs, Belle, Millie, and Ellie; her rabbits, Winston and Nora; and Carl Cat. She rarely went anywhere without one of her beloved stuffed animals tucked close beside her. Whether she was dancing, laughing, playing, or snuggling with those she loved, Eliza had a special way of making every moment brighter. She was deeply loved and brought immeasurable happiness to everyone who knew her. Our family will forever cherish the two beautiful years we were blessed to have with Eliza. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing her love will remain with us always, and her gentle spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Brett Mendola, the Oak Creek Police and Fire Departments, the extraordinary doctors, nurses, and caregivers at Children's Hospital of Milwaukee, and the Family Support Team at Versiti for their compassionate care and unwavering support. We are especially grateful to everyone who participated in Eliza's Honor Walk. During the most heartbreaking moments of our lives, your love, kindness, and compassion wrapped our family in comfort. Watching so many people honor our sweet little girl is a memory we will carry in our hearts forever. Visitation Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 9:00 – 10:45 AM at SAINT STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH (1441 W.
