With broken hearts and endless love, we share the passing of Francisco Javier Rodriguez, a deeply cherished husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. On April 14, 2025, he left this world to be in the presence of God, but the warmth of his spirit, the sound of his laughter, and the kindness of his heart will remain with us forever. Born on December 29, 1952, Francisco lived a life overflowing with love, joy, and purpose. He was the devoted husband of Reyna Rodriguez, his lifelong partner, best friend, and the love of his life. Their bond was a beautiful example of true love — built on laughter, deep respect, and an unshakable connection that carried them through life side by side. Francisco was the anchor of our family — the steady, loving force who helped raise and guide 14 resilient women and 2 wonderful boys. He was a proud stepfather to Serina, Maricela, and Emma, grandfather to Yanires, Janissa, Eloisa, Lariah, Adan, Ana, Amethyst, and Abayalina, and great-grandfather to Danylia, Zaeliya, Jaslene, Mia, and Vinicio. He was also a loving tío to Robert and many nieces and nephews. His love for his family was endless and unconditional. Every hug, every quiet talk, every shared laugh — it all came from a place of deep devotion. Francisco had a gentle, generous soul. He made people feel safe, seen, and loved. Whether you were family by blood or chosen by heart, he treated you as his own. He brought warmth and comfort wherever he went, and his smile — always present, always real — had a way of making everything feel okay. He was always quick with a joke or a playful comment, and his laughter filled rooms like sunlight through windows. He loved deeply and lived simply, finding joy in the everyday — his pets, his plants, working with his hands, watching sports, and most of all, doing life with Reyna. They did everything together, hand in hand, heart to heart. Francisco was our rock, our biggest cheerleader, and the one we all leaned on. The world feels a little quieter without him, but we carry his voice, his strength, and his love with us always. We will miss him more than words could ever say. But we find comfort knowing that his love surrounds us still — in every blooming plant, in every shared family laugh, and in the way we continue to show up for each other the way he always did. Francisco Javier Rodriguez will forever be missed, and forever remembered with love, gratitude, and admiration. We love you Welo. Visitation Wednesday, April 23 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the ROZGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES – ROZGA-WALLOCH CHAPEL. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Thursday, April 24 at 11:00 AM at BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, 601 W. Lincoln Ave (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Private Cremation to follow.
