Haydee Monzerrat Olaguez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Haydee M Olaguez ( La Porte), on October 06, 2024, at the age of 66, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Haydee was born on January 1, 1958 in Bronx, New York, to Florencio F La Porte and Carmen Edith Colon. She spent her early years if life in New York, where she developed a deep connection to her family before moving to Milwaukee Wi. Haydee was a devoted mother to her five children Etienne Guzman, Catalina La Porte, Felix Guzman, Jerry Guzman, Carmen Guzman ( Padilla) Grandchildren: Carlos E Guzman, Louis A La Porte, Roberto D Rodriguez, Etiennanna A La Porte, Jose A Nieves Jr, Carlos Cabral Jr, Tatyanna M Guzman- Padilla, Vanessa A Guzman-Padilla, Oscar E Cabral, Katyanna Y Nieves, Xavier A Nieves, Mikalah A Vargas, Felix L Guzman Jr, Jerry L Guzman Jr, Etienne E Guzman-Padilla Josiah Guzman-Padilla, Zendaya S Guzman-Padilla. She was a loving grandmother to her 14 grandchildren, and her joy also extended to her great-grandchildren. She now joins her two sons lot Etienne K Guzman, Felix L Guzman, and her brother Kenneth F Colon and her mother, Carmen E Colon,and father Florencio F La Porte in eternal rest. Haydee was known for her unwavering work ethic and dedication to her family. Throughout her life, she was admired for her kindness though she was no pushover and had her moments her heart was huge, the epitome of strength, and her willingness to help those in need. Those who knew Haydee remember her as a person with a heart full of love and a spirit full of resilience. She was known for her generosity, her infectious laughter, and her ability to bring people together. Haydee enjoyed cross word puzzles and reading books and playing dominos and card games like rummy and spades her home was always filled with warmth and laughter, Spanish music playing in the background while she kept her home spotless especially when surrounded by her beloved family. Haydee is survived by her children Catalina ( Diego ) Jerry, Carmen ( Ignacio ) her Grandchildren: Carlos E Guzman, Louis A La Porte, Roberto D Rodriguez, Etiennanna A La Porte,Jose A Nieves Jr, Carlos Cabral Jr, Tatyanna M Guzman- Padilla, Vanessa A Guzman-Padilla, Oscar E Cabral, Katyanna Y Nieves, Xavier A Nieves, Mikalah A Vargas, Felix L Guzman Jr, Jerry L Guzman Jr, Etienne E Guzman-Padilla Josiah Guzman-Padilla, Zendaya S Guzman-Padilla and her (8) Great grandchildren and her siblings Florencio F Laporte , Venus M Colon, Sylvia Colon,She will be deeply missed by her extended family and countless friends who cherished her. "Haydee will be remembered for her boundless love, her devotion to her family, and the light she brought into the lives of everyone she touched. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her." Visitation Thursday, October 10 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM.
