Jose Andres Vasquez

Entered into Eternal Life on January 25, 2023, at the young age of 40. He was a devoted father of five children, Amira, Amari, (Pizano) Sophia, Eliaseo, and Julian Vasquez. All of which he loved to spend most of his time with. He enjoyed taking his children on “night walks,” dancing, and enjoying the outdoors. The love for his kids was selfless and unconditional. It was the simplest of pleasures in life that brought joy to Jose. He enjoyed writing, drawing, and watching basketball. (The Bucks) His love for freestyle music was “untouchable” He didn’t have a problem letting his inner child out when he wore the badge of “Uncle Jose,” which started long before he became a father of his own. He loved to make everyone around him laugh and was sure to always keep a good “dad joke” under his sleeve. Jose was a protector, a leader, and a provider. He was sometimes stubborn and difficult, but his genuine love and ability to understand will forever be missed. At a young age Jose was presented with many challenges. He used many of the events in his life as a motivation to positively impact the community, specifically the youth for whom he loved and cared for so deeply. He became an inspiration to everyone who knew him and was a dedicated mentor with a passion for helping others and making a difference in the way we empower the youth. His contributions will leave an imprint on the community for generations to come. His ambitious personality kept him resilient and he was determined to be the voice for the unheard. Just one of Jose’s many accomplishments in life included a memoir, published in 2020, Titled “Crown Nailed To The Cross” which gave a chance for others to see life through the lens of a troubled teen.Grounded by Faith and Prayer, Jose had the heart of a lion, and the mind of a wolf. Jose is survived by the mother of his children; (Maria Pizano) loving sisters; Laura (Castelnao) Cruz, Maria Saldivar, Alexandria Saldivar, Evangelina Saldivar, Angela Montenegro, Lissette Vasquez, Vanessa Vasquez, and Maria Vasquez. Brothers; Michael Doyle, Sabas Vasquez Jr. Dear Aunt; Mary Ann Doyle, as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many other treasured friends and family members. He was joined in heaven by both parents (Mother) Linda Reyes (nee Doyle) and (Father) Sabes Vasquez, and his Bonus Mother Shirley Saldivar, as well as many other dearly missed loved ones. The family of Jose would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who has reached out to us with your words of encouragement, prayers, and well wishes. We want to give Jose the memorial he deserves.
