Josephine "Josie" Teeters

(nee Tuma) On Thursday, November 24, 2022, Thanksgiving Day, Josephine "Josie" Teeters, passed away, giving thanks to the Lord for her 95 years of life. Josie was a very strong women, starting on the day she was born, May 7, 1927 in Lugarville, WI, at the light weight of 3 pounds (sharing space with her brother Johnny). She will be remembered for her love, and care of her family, cooking and baking. Josie enjoyed caring for her plants and proud of her very tidy yard and home. She was quite a seamstress, making clothes from patterns, and mending many items for her family. Her favorite entertainment was playing cards, with her family, or friends at the Oak Creek Community Center for many years. Josie watched every Brewer game possible and attended a few games with family. At the age 70, she retired from her many years of employment at Tri-City grocery store. She has happily joined her loved ones that have passed before her, parents John and Grace Tuma, husband, of 32 years Clayton Teeters, and her siblings, Wilma, Willie, Mary and her twin Johnny. She is survived by her 5 children, Wayne (Patti) Teeters, Bonnie Woodington, Douglas (Mary) Teeters, Brian Teeters, and Jonathan (Colleen) Teeters. She was also a loving grandmother of; Tracy Ohm, Carrie (Tony) Bondioli, Nicole Roper, Mike Wulk, Kimberly (Larry Stoltz) Ohm, Travis Teeters, Chrissy and Katie Teeters (2 lives cut too short), Evan (Therese) Woodington and Alex Woodington, loving great-grandmother "gi-gi" of; Angelo, Madilyn, Junior, Aleigha, Berkley, Josie, Owen, Phoenix, Oliver, Gaelen and Gwendolyn, great-great-grandmother of; Ace, Presley, and her little sister due in February. Josie is also survived by sister-in-law, Delores Tuma, and many nieces and nephews. We all appreciated her pride, in her classy style and appearance. In lieu of flowers, please donate to those in need, being Salvation Army, blood bank, local charities, or Toys for Tots, so children less fortunate have a gift to open on Christmas. Visitation Monday, December 5 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the ROZGA-WALLOCH CHAPEL followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Interment Wood National Cemetery (PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY OFFICE).
