Kenneth V. Kroll

Kenny will be remembered for his kindness, calm presence and his uncanny ability to identify any General Motors car by year, make and model. He passed away on February 25, 2026, shortly after his 75th birthday. He was born on February 10, 1951 in Watertown Wisconsin. He grew up in Milwaukee and stayed in the great state Wisconsin his entire life. He loved his family first and foremost. He never missed a family reunion in Antigo even though he never booked a hotel room in advance. Not one to perform willingly but you could always find him sitting front and center to cheer on the performances. He was a master of the Tillie cheer and had his glove ready for the family softball game. He is survived by his wife Betty (nee Allington) of 44 years, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Sean Behrens. He has two grandchildren, Everett, who inherited his grandpa’s love of cars, and Miles, who is a spitting image of a little Kenny Kroll. He was very close with his siblings and spent every holiday celebrating together. His siblings include Jerry and his wife Carole Kroll, Karen and her husband Doug (aka Kenny’s BFF) Anderson, Connie and her husband Rick Scherkenbach and Mike and his wife Shelby Kroll. He also has many nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends who will miss him dearly. He is now reunited with his parents Frank and Mille “Tootsie” Kroll. He worked at Crest Cadillac for 43 years in the parts department. He’s been the proud owner of many different Cadillacs through the years. The most memorable being “Big Red”, his Cadillac Fleetwood 75 (The longest sedan ever made) and most recently his 1965 Cadillac Coupe de ville convertible. You could find him at car shows in the summer catching up with people he’s met in the car industry through the years. Kenny loved being outside whether it was at the cabin on Post Lake, playing golf or watching the sunset from the back porch at his home in Elkhorn. He loved boating and was an expert driver for water skiing and tubing. As an avid Wisconsin sports fan, Kenny never missed a Brewers or a Packers game. Hopefully Uecker is still calling games so he can tune in when the Brewers play with his beloved dog Cody by his side and a Coca-Cola in hand. To celebrate his life, please eat a Hershey bar while dancing to The Marshall Tucker Band. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
