Marcella M. Kedzierski

(nee Piesik) Surrounded by her loving family, Marcella passed away May 1, at the age of 88 years in Appleton, WI. She was born in Polonia, WI to the late Thomas and Martha (nee Waldoch) Piesik. Marcella married the late Robert John Kedzierski on September 25, 1948 in Milwaukee, WI. She is survived by her children Robert Lee (West Allis), Sister Debra Ann (Appleton), and Timothy Alan Kedzierski (Milwaukee); grandson Robert Walter (Angie) Kedzierski (Cudahy); great grandchildren Reese and Jacob Kedzierski; and special family friend, Kathy Damon (Appleton), Marcella’s “other daughter.” She is further survived by many nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters; Leo, Salomeia, Sylvester, Ernest (Stella), Virgil, Gregory (Regina), Anne (Floyd) Jaskie, Cornelia (Edwin) Wesolowski, Margaret and Michael Piesik. Marcella’s most important life’s work was being both wife and mother. She took these jobs very seriously and strived to make a happy and healthy home. She also worked for many years as a quality controller/packer at Rhea’s, Zwickers, and Reliable of Milwaukee; finally retiring at age 75. Being born and raised on a farm, Marcella learned the meaning of hard work as a young child doing chores. She was a model of resourcefulness and resilience. The family wishes to thank the staff at Heartwood Homes Senior Living, AseraCare Hospice, and Father Falk of St. Thomas More Parish (Appleton), for the wonderful care of Marcella and support of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. To My Children When I tell you I love you, I don’t say it out of habit or to make a conversation. I say it to remind you that you’re the best thing that ever happened to me. The bond between mothers and their children is one defined by love. As a mother’s prayers for her children are unending, so are the wisdom, grace, and strength they provide to their children. Visitation Friday, May 12 at the Rozga-Walloch Funeral Home from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 6:00 PM. Additional visitation Saturday, May 13 10:00-11:00 AM at BLESSED SACRAMENT CHURCH (3100 S. 41st St, Milwaukee) followed by the Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
