Maria A. Rodriguez

Maria (Anita) Rodriguez passed away peacefully on April 7, 2019 in hospice care surrounded by her loving family and friends. A resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin since 1964, Maria was born to Celia Arroyo and Epigmeno Rodriguez at the Presa Mocha, Tayahua Zac. Mexico. She was a hard working daughter to her proud parents. Anita filled the air with those around her with joy for living, her infectious smile, and had many friends and suitors. On the 20th of August 1964, Anita married her husband Lauro Mario Rodriguez and moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin. Anita worked at various factories throughout the years, including a toy factory once, when permitted. She was an excellent homemaker, mother and wife. She never forgot her family back home and always brought something for everyone when visiting. She was donned the indulgent aunt (La Tia Consentida) by her nieces and nephews, whom she spent time after time with, talking among all her friends, either on the phone or in person. Anita loved to connect with everyone and always had time to talk. Anita is survived in life by her daughter Lucila Rodriguez, daughter-in-law Suemary Trobaugh; son Lauro Rodriguez; daughter- in-law Alma Zulema Rodriguez; grandchildren Lauro Rodriguez, Dillon Rodriguez, Ruby Violeta Rodriguez, Rebeka Rodriguez, and Carson Catherine Trobaugh; brother Jesus (Aurora) Rodriguez; Sisters Josefina Rodriguez, Mercedes (Uriel Muro) Rodriguez, Elena Rodriguez, Teresa (Jose Torres) Rodriguez, Celia (Rene) Perez; raised niece Gela (Manuel Rocha) Arsiniega, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Anita was preceded in death by her daughter Violeta Rodriguez, husband Lauro Rodriguez, parents Celia Arroyo and Epigmeno Rodriguez; sister Maria Ingracia Rodriguez; nieces Elenita Rodriguez, Blanca Muro and brothers-in-law Ramiro Rodriguez and Salvador Rodriguez and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation Saturday, April 13 at The Rozga Funeral Home (703 W. Lincoln Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53215) from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at The Basilica of St. Josaphat Church (601 W. Lincoln Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53215) at 10:00 AM. Interment Forest Home Cemetery.
