Paulette J. Galian "Polly"

Found peace November 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with ovarian and colon cancer. She is survived by her devoted children Chuck (Wendy) Galian, Noel (Todd) Ringe, beloved Granddaughter Samantha Galian, her loving siblings Joanne Colasacco & Eugene (Linda) Korpi, sister-in-law Sandra Greuel, dear friends Pat & Fred Petran, Pastor Martin & Karen Schulz, Tristan Schulz, Jackie Hillman, Joan Ringe, Steve & Julie Gabor, special UK cousins Gerald & Julie Hope & many nieces, nephews, cousins & countless friends. She was reunited in Heaven with Chuck, her husband of 51 years, parents Evelyn & Eugene Korpi, in-laws Chuck & Connie Galian & her brother-in-law Dan Colasacco. Polly grew up in Hurley, WI & moved to Milwaukee with her family when she was 15. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1965. When she was 17 & worked as an operator at WI Bell she met her soulmate, Chuck, a US Army draftee They were married August 20, 1966; 3 weeks later, Chuck was deployed to Vietnam. For nearly 40 years Polly worked in the medical field as a receptionist, executive assistant & office manager. In each of her roles she was highly respected for her dedication, professionalism, expertise & sincere empathy. A consummate hostess, Polly loved entertaining guests by cooking for family & friends. She also was known for her generosity, kindness & thoughtful gift giving. Polly also volunteered for the WI Parkinson’s Association & worked with Parkinson’s support groups. She was deeply devoted to her friends & family. The highlight of her life, however, was becoming a Grandparent. Nothing brought Polly more joy than being Samantha’s “Grandmie”. The family would like to thank Dr. Manish Pant, Dr. Laura Duncan & the angels of the 9th floor at St. Luke’s Oncology Clinic for their genuine compassion & exceptional care. Also, the family is grateful for Pastor David Kuehl & the Pastoral staff at St. Paul’s for tending to Polly’s spiritual needs. If desired, donations can be made in Polly’s memory to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Muskego) or WI Parkinson’s Association. Relatives & friends will be received for a visitation Friday Dec. 13th at ST. PAUL’S LUTHERAN CHURCH (S66W14325 Janesville Rd, Muskego) from 1:00 to 2:30 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 2:30 PM. Private Inurnment on a later date will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. 2 TIMOTHY 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
