Scott A. Stuedemann

Scott A. Stuedemann, 36, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 in Milwaukee. May he no longer suffer from his pain in silence and find the peace he was seeking. Scott was born in 1982 in Milwaukee, WI to Joy and Randolph Stuedemann. He was a graduate of Waterford Union High School. Scott spent 15 plus years being a truck driver. He most recently worked for Schneider Intermodal of Milwaukee. Scott was a devoted husband, father, brother and loving son. He was a very devoted friend and someone you could count on. He was tremendously proud of his family. He married the love of his life, Dorothy or Dee (Joslin) on April 4, 2003 at St. Lucas Church, Milwaukee. Scott became a surrogate father to Dee’s children Robert and Jacob. He would eventually adopt both boys as his own sons. He and Dorothy would go have two more boys, Caleb and Caden. As a proud father, Scott enjoyed coaching and playing baseball with his son, Caden, and practicing taekwondo with Caleb and Caden. Scott’s family will always remember him as being loyal and dedicated to his family. His wife, Dee, will always remember that her husband was her best friend, her strength, and her safe place. Robert thought of his dad as the duct tape of the family, holding everyone tightly together. He will always recall how selfless his dad was and how Scott adopted him and Jacob without hesitation, forming a strong family unit together. Jacob admired the way his dad would put his family’s needs above his own no matter the task. Caleb saw how his father would help others in their time of need and how family and friends came first; something he would tell his children often. Caden will always remember how much fun he had playing baseball with his dad. Scott was a life-long baseball fan. He spent his youth playing for various leagues and loved the Milwaukee Brewers. He went to Brewers’ games every season. Another favorite pastime of Scott’s was taking the boys fishing. He looked forward to date nights to the movies with his wife. Scott was a fan of all different types of music, from country to metal. Five Finger Death Punch was his favorite band. He was also a member of the Brew City Beard Alliance. His fellow members were considered family and brothers to him. Scott is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Joslin); sons, Robert (Tiffani), Jacob of United States Air Force, Caleb, and Caden. Scott is also survived by parents, Randolph and Joy (Kelly); brother, Randall; mother-in-law, Robin; sister-in-law, Tracy (Mark); nephews, Brett, Nick (Ashley), Austin (Savannah); niece, Abby (Preston) and many loving friends and relatives. His brother, Nick; father-in-law. Clarence; Uncle Mike, and his grandparents, preceded Scott in death. Scott was a living example of the quote he used to describe his father-in-law, “Everything he gave, nothing he would take.” If you or someone you know is feeling sad or depressed, please know there is another way out of this labyrinth of suffering.
