Angel L. Davila Cruz

Angel Luis Davila Cruz was born and raised in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico on January 14th 1938. He has always been a hard worker from an early age. When he was a teenager, he discontinued his education and started working as a builder and an electrician to financially help his parents. Angel used his God given gifts, with the help of his brothers, to build the house where he lived in with his wife and two children, to build his mom’s house, and to help build his Brother Rafael’s basement. Later on in life, to help sustain his own family, Angel worked for 20 years and retired from the department of administration of Centro Medico in Puerto Rico. He was a true example of a hardworking man that gave his all for the ones he loved. Those that truly knew Angel also knew that he was a busy body! After retirement, he went back to building and made it a hobby. He spend his time breaking, rebuilding, and fixing anything that needed a fix. If you knew Angel, you also knew these things about him: he liked to dress well, he liked to read his bible and worship God, he loved his wife and children, and his youngest daughter Yajaira was/is his proudest achievement! Angel met and fell in love with Luz Maria Colon Mojica in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. He was a God loving man who accepted Christ as his Savior at Iglesia Asambleas de Dios in St. Just Puerto Rico. On Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 Angel departed this life, at the age of 82. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luz Maria Colon Mojica. Angel leaves to cherish his memory: son, Edgardo Davila; daughter, Yajaira Brooks; grandchildren, Greishka, Nicole, Luis, & Yezneidi Davila, & Zander Brooks; great grandchildren, Janzxiel, Zekxiel, & Ekiel Davila, his brothers Rafael, Berto, Maelo, Miguel and sisters Carmen & Visenta Davila. Memorial Visitation Friday, December 11 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN TIMES) at the ROZGA-LINCOLN VILLAGE CHAPEL (703 W. Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215) followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM. Private inurnment at Good Hope Cemetery.
