Jack Timothy Barrett

Jack passed away in Milwaukee, WI on June 16, 2021, at the age of 21. Jack had an adventurous spirit, charismatic personality and a laugh that was truly contagious. He had the ability to light up a room upon entering, and was the first to make a joke that captivated everyone. Jack had an easy-going take on life, as well as a calming presence, and he never sweat the small stuff. Jack was blessed to live a life of adventure and worldly experiences. He played soccer for most of his early years, once traveling to Spain to train & compete. He’s gone snorkeling, ziplining, white water rafting, loved cliff jumping with friends and, of course snowboarding. Jack had a love of photography and talented in art and drawing. His generous heart also took him on two mission trips to Costa Rica. Jack did Jack. He was always truly himself, he never let anyone, or anything change him. He created memorable experiences on family outings, holidays and developed a unique relationship with those that were close to him. Jack had so many interests that all conversations with him were meaningful & enjoyable. To be a friend of Jack’s meant someone always had your back and your life would be filled with constant belly laughter. Jack is the beloved Son of Kelly (nee Blaser) Barrett and Tim Barrett. Loving & Favorite Brother of McKenna (Santi OssaVeladia) Barrett. Dear Grandson of Sue and Mike Barrett, Karin Blaser, and the late Nathan Blaser. Much loved Nephew to Shane (Kellie) Blaser, Sara (Brian) Tilton, and Matthew Barrett. Loving Cousin to Mark Reszczynski, Mason (Jenna Robinson) Reszczynski and Mckayla & Ethan Blaser. Further survived by additional extended family and so many genuine friends, including Will Osowski, Frank Nannicola, and Brianna White. I’m sure Jack will be hanging with his longtime friend Sam Vertelka, surely catching up on some serious snowboarding. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Sunday, June 27, 2021 beginning at 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 PM both at the Rozga-Walloch Chapel (4309 S. 20th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221). Reception to follow. Flowers and Jack-inspired and vibrant attire is welcome.
