Marsha E. Turner

February 28, 2022

Marsha Elice Turner (nee Matusiak), the Rowdy Girl, "Marty", age 72, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was born to this Earth on July of 1949, and departed Monday, February 28, 2022, to reunite with her family in heaven -- parents Melvin and Josephine Matusiak, sister Josephine Plotzke and Muffins her English Sheep Dog. She is survived by her beautiful daughters Kelly Robin (Reba) and Maggie Elice, her sister Karen (Richard Knoll) and brother Brad Matusiak as well as her nieces, Medina, Monica, Amanda, Denise, Terry, and nephews James and Ed. “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (Revelation 21:4).” In remembrance of our beautiful life-long friend, be it known that "happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure (Albus Dumbledore)." After high school, Marsha was employed at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company downtown before taking leave to become a loving wife and mother. When she reentered the workforce it was at WalMart, and retired after 16 years of service. She enjoyed many friendships and cherished the time spent with those people and places. Marsha was the most devoted Brewers fan, ever ready to cheer on the crew to their next victory. She enjoyed cooking and was always ready with home-baked treats for every holiday. She imparted her love of music on her daughters, and she will forever be remembered through the lyrics of her favorite songs. She appreciated the beauty of nature in all seasons, and was equally passionate about all of God’s creatures. She especially loved lions, birds, elephants, monkeys, squirrels and dogs. Marsha was creative, loved to write, and had an infinite imagination. Fortunately, these, her greatest characteristics, were inherited by her children. It is with fond affection that she is remembered by her special friends, Shale, G.W., Henry, W.G., Mick, Reilly, Douggie, D.J., Samuel, Stewart, Stark, Vishnu and Baby-girl Io. Immediate family appreciates your recognition of their solitude during their period of sorrow and will hold a small private memorial and ceremonial scattering of ashes, somewhere nice forever, at a later date. Her essence will fly in the wind, mingle with the autumn leaves and land among the pumpkins in the most sincere of pumpkin patches. Becareful Mom. We love you. Always. If desired, in keeping with Marsha’s love of animals, memorial contributions in her honor should be made to the Milwaukee County Zoo, 10001 W Bluemound Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53226. https://shop.milwaukeezoo.org/#/Donation The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Elmbrook Hospital. Private Cremation to be held. Rozga Funeral & Cremation Services Rozga-Walloch Chapel 414/281-7145
