It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Noel Albrecht. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at 11:17 on March 20th, 2021 after a fierce battle with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. She was 50 years young. Noel was born in 1970 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Kathleen and Michael Albrecht. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Devin and Zachary, and a big sis to Melissa, Dawn and Alan. She was loved by family and many close friends including Erin and her daughter Emily. Noel was a dedicated mother who treasured every moment with her boys. She was full of energy and demonstrated how to be strong. Noel was fun-loving, generous, and kind. She believed in forgiveness and was always willing to give her love and support to all. She was fierce, tough, fearless, and always had a shoulder to lean on. Noel had an impeccable style that made people feel envious especially when dancing in 8-inch heels. The beach soothed her soul and music was a part of her. She had a passion for her work and saw her coworkers as more than just colleagues but as friends. Noel was vivacious, loved to laugh, loved to cause a “little trouble”, and never showed how sick she truly was. Noel passed away exactly 2 years to the day of her diagnosis of breast cancer. She wanted to make it to this date, and it was the final goal she set for herself. It was a long, tireless battle and she fought vigorously until her last breath. Her favorite quote was from Muhammad Ali, “I’m going to show you how great I am” and she did. She held on not only for herself but for everyone that loved and believed in her. Noel epitomized the true definition of strength and courage every single day. She may have lost the battle, but she never lost her fight. Noel wanted to be with her family through her final days. She was surrounded with love and support. She went peacefully with her loved ones at her side. No more pain and no more suffering. Noel was taken from us too soon, but we are forever grateful to be blessed with her life. She was extraordinary and irreplaceable. Her presence will truly never leave our hearts. Although she will be missed more than words can describe, we are comforted in knowing that her love, memories, and spirit will forever be with us. Her wish is for everyone to smile, laugh, and live life to the fullest. She always preferred happiness instead of a sorrowful event. In her honor, we will be holding a celebration of her life near the end of summer (more details to come). We love you Noel, to the moon and back.
