Barbara A. Johnson

Following a lengthy battle with cancer, Barbara A. Johnson (Labinski) passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 15th, 2022 at the age of 63. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 43 years Harry (Marty) M. Johnson Jr., her children: Marty (Michele) Johnson, Michelle (Andrew) Molina, and Michael (Jessica) Johnson, her grandchildren: Andrew, Jaden, Emily, Mia, Myles, Max, Ayden, Chayse, Josie, Quorra, and Tegan, and Mother Helen Labinski. As well as numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving father, Arthur Labinski and infant granddaughter, Emily Johnson. Barb was born on July 12th, 1959 to Arthur and Helen Labinski in Milwaukee, WI. She was the only daughter out of 5 siblings. In 1977, she met the love of her life, Harry, and they wed in 1979. Together they welcomed three children; Marty, Michelle, and Michael. Barb dedicated herself to being a fantastic, wonderful and strong stay at home mom and wife. She enjoyed being outdoors. Whether it was simply sitting outside with family and/or friends while listening to music or taking trips to one of her favorite spots in Door County. You could always find her enjoying a beautiful day. In 2017, Barb was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Despite the devastating news, she was determined and fought tirelessly to stay with her family and celebrate with them many of life's milestones. Through that determination and with her loving support system she beat many odds that were against her and astonished many by doing so. She has been an inspiration to us all with her strength, courage and faith during this difficult time. In the end it wasn't cancer who won, but it was the love she had for her family. Thank you to the Doctors and Nurses for being such a kind and thoughtful voice when we needed it most. Your care and friendship are truly appreciated by all. Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, August 27 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Rozga Funeral & Cremation Services - ROZGA-WALLOCH CHAPEL (4309 S. 20th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221) followed by Memorial Service at 1:30 PM.
