Cruz Nilda "Mima" Aldape

Cruz Nilda Aldape, lovingly known as Mima, Hermana Cuty, or simply Mommy, will be remembered as a woman of deep faith, steadfast love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her life was marked by a heartfelt love for God, a joyful spirit in worship, and a legacy of compassion that will continue to live on through the many lives she touched. Mima had a heart and absolute love for God and for our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved going to church, cherished her church family, and found great joy in singing praise and worship songs to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life and a guiding light to all who knew her. She was a loving and dedicated wife to her late husband, Daniel Aldape, and a loving partner to Ruben Mercado. More than anything, Mima adored her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. As the matriarch of her family, she held her loved ones close and was the center of her children's and grandchildren's lives. Her presence gave comfort, strength, and unity, and her legacy will be one of absolute, concentrated, and pure love that will be felt for generations to come. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Aldape; her eldest daughter Nilda "Sokie" Morales and her husband, Jose Morales, parents of Leanna Sengyothinh (husband Patrick) and her daughter Dalisa Flores (husband Gera); her oldest son, Jose Daniel "Checo" Aldape, father of Daisy LeCruz Aldape; her daughter, Lynda Aldape-Mateo, mother of Rafael Mateo, Zaria Castillo (husband Julio), and Diego Soto. She is survived by her life partner, Ruben Mercado; her son, Juan Ramon Aldape and his wife, Sandra, parents of the late Raymon Aldape and Alyssa Aldape Ketterle (husband Johnny); her daughter, Ada Nivia Vento and her husband, Steven, parents of Devin Vento (wife Allison), Maddox Vento, and Matthias Vento; and her son, Josue Aldape and his wife, Connie, parents of Alonzo Aldape and Carmelo Aldape. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, sisters, extended family, church family, a myriad of friends, and many other loved ones. Mima's life was a testimony of faith, family, and enduring love. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, grace, and strength that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Visitation will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at ROZGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES - MUKWONAGO CHAPEL, (225 Eagle Lake Ave, Mukwonago, WI 53149) with Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Family and friends will meet Friday at 2:30 PM at GOOD HOPE CEMETERY, (4141 S. 43rd St, Greenfield, WI) for the Graveside Committal Service.
