Daniel “Deco” James Stoltz July 27, 1952 – March 1, 2026 Daniel “Deco” James Stoltz, age 73, passed peacefully on March 1, 2026 at 6:40 a.m., surrounded by love and prayer. Daniel was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Holly, the love of his life and his entire world. Together they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered around faith, family, laughter, and unwavering love. He was a proud and loving father of six, a cherished grandfather of fifteen, and a great-grandfather of seven. He was also a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit. Especially his best friend Thomas Grablewski, his daily calls will stay in his heart and memories forever. Daniel served his country honorably in the United States Army &#55356;�&#55356;�. His strength and dedication carried through every part of his life. For the past two years, Daniel fought courageously as his health declined. His body had become fragile and even his once strong voice had grown quiet. Yet his spirit remained as strong as ever, the same big, loving presence his family had always known. Above all, Daniel was a deeply God-loving man. His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. He spoke about Jesus to anyone who would listen, not only with words but through the way he lived. He planted seeds of faith in the hearts of many that will continue to grow for generations to come. Daniel had an outgoing personality and a playful spirit. He loved making people laugh and was known for his warm heart, compassionate nature, and generous giving. He loved music and dancing and was a big fan of Elvis. He enjoyed watching sports and could often be found laughing along with episodes of Seinfeld. He loved bowling with his brother, his son, and his wife, moments that brought him great joy. He will also be remembered by his daughter for the special memories of playing 45’s after school and dancing together. Daniel enjoyed working on cars with his sons and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He took pride in teaching his children and their friends practical lessons in life, even something as simple as how to change a tire. He read his Bible every day. He loved rummaging with Holly and was famous for quietly slipping the kids money when mom wasn’t looking. He and Holly also enjoyed playing bingo and trying their luck at the slot machines together. Daniel had a deep love for animals and shared his life with many beloved dogs and cats over the years. He loved food, especially pasta and was known for his unique habit of putting ketchup on his steak. He also had quite the sweet tooth. Christmas was his favorite time of year. Nothing brought him greater joy than giving gifts to his children and grandchildren and watching their faces light up on Christmas morning. Daniel was truly the best dad and grandpa. His love, laughter, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Daniel often reminded his family that the only thing we can take to Heaven is the people we lead to Christ. Today we find comfort in knowing the seeds of faith he planted have grown. They are still growing, and they will continue to grow all the way up to him. Daniel is survived by his wife Holly, Son Larry (Kim) chdrn; Dustin(Kendall) chdrn Baby Huntley, Son Bobby Stoltz chdrn Mitchell, Son Jeffrey (Kelly) Hanson chdrn Sarah, Jacob & Kaitlyn, Son Joseph (Angela) chdrn Kaitlin (Olen) Thomas, Olivia, Josephine & Matilda, Daughter Kerri (Randall) Grablewski, chdrn Randy, Karlie, Ryan, Ricky, Robby, Kassie & Kaydie, Son Daniel (Dana) chdrn Amanda (Beau) Oleson chdrn Alivia Rae, Alex (Brooke) chdrn Adalynn & Brittney. Siblings Bill, Cheryl, Raymond, Gina, Marlin, Lori and also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: Grand-son Ryan Daniel Grablewski, Mother Lucille and Father Jerome Stoltz, Sister Miley Stoltz , Sister-in-law Beth Stoltz, Nephews Eddie and Jay Stoltz and Dean Hart. He will be deeply missed until the day we are reunited again. Memorial Gathering Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at MUKWONAGO AMERICAN LEGION POST 375 (627 E. Veterans Way, Mukwonago, WI 53149) followed by Military Honors Ceremony at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 2:15 PM.
