John Llanas Jr.

John Llanas Jr. better known as “Cuppy/Capitan” was born June 4, 1956 to his beloved parents Juan Llanas Sr. and Sara De La Rosa in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. John accepted Christ at a young age and was the seventh born of nine children. John received his formal education at Riverside high school and continued a higher education at Milwaukee Area Technical College, where he successfully graduated with an Associates in Auto Mechanics. In 1973, John met his beautiful wife Yvonne Summerville of 50 years and started a family that consist of two beautiful daughters Jasmine and Christina, and one handsome son Lamont. John held various jobs ranging from Auto mechanic, Potawatomi, Miller Park, Handyman, and General Motors. In John’s past time he would love to play his guitar, listen to music, go fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. John departed this life Friday May 5, 2023 at the age of 66 years. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Sara and John Llanas Sr., three sisters: Rita Parker, Cleo Stovall, Rosemary Reske, one brother: Lupi Guadiana, and one brother-in-law: Edward Alloway Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife Yvonne Summerville, two daughters Jasmine and Christina Summerville, and one son Lamont Summerville, three grandchildren: Ashley and Larry Kirk III, and Noah Summerville, three sisters: Gloria Alloway, Yolanda Llanas, Linda (Norman) Llanas-Tym, one brother-in-law Leroy Reske and one sister-in-law Louise Guadiana, a host of many cousins, aunts, uncles, and many other relatives and friends. “ Gone from our Sight, But Never from our Hearts”-We love You Paw Paw. Love Ashley, Lil Larry and Noah. Visitation Monday, May 15 at the ROZGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES – ROZGA-WALLOCH CHAPEL from 3:00 – 7:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 5:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Tuesday, May 16 at 12:30 PM at the BASILICA OF ST. JOSAPHAT, 601 W. Lincoln Ave (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
