Marcelina Ruiz was called home on August 10th at the age of 63. Marcie as she was affectionately known as, was born in 1959 to the late Faustino and Narcisa Ruiz in San Antonio, Texas. Marcie was the oldest of 10 siblings. Being the oldest she often attended to her siblings while her parents were away at work. As a result of this, Marcie matured very quickly and started her own adult life at a young age. Marcie was a very loving and caring woman who devoted her life to her family. Although she didn’t get the education she desired, you would have never known by talking to her. Marcie was very knowledgeable and continued to better herself throughout her whole life. Marcie’s infectious smile never failed to light up a room, and her delicious cooking never failed to satisfy the stomachs of her loved ones. Marcie loved sharing memories from her past, and always looked forward to spending time with her family. Many of us will remember Marcie as a well-kept woman who at times was outspoken but always did it out of love. Life brought Marcie many obstacles, but she always fought hard to overcome them. Marcie’s faith in God healed her from many health issues and kept her from giving up. While many of us would have lacked the strength to push through, Marcie kept going strong, and always kept a beautiful smile on her face. Marcie’s love for her children and family is what kept her going. Marcie prayed that she’d be with us long enough for her children to become adults, and thankfully God answered her prayers! Although Marcie was called home to be with God and her loved ones, she will forever be in our hearts and in our memories. Marcie was proceeded by her parents Faustino and Narcisa Ruiz and her siblings, Tino and Julie. Marcie is survived by her boyfriend Manuel and her five children Alfred, Sergio, Roman, Rey, and Xiomaira. She’s also survived by her siblings Mando, Jesusa, Fabian, Manuel(Lisa), Eli, Victor(Rick), Jesse(Gracie) and many loving nephews and nieces . Although we know that we can’t have you here on earth with us, we’re happy in knowing that the Angels delivered you home to be with God and your loved ones. Visitation Thursday, August 18 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the ROZGA FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES - LINCOLN VILLAGE CHAPEL (703 West Lincoln Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53215), followed by Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
